HR Administrator Employee Relations Administrator HR Coordinator

Plymouth Up to Β£36,000 DOE 3+ Month Contract HR and Employee Relations Support

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an HR Administrator to join the HR team of an established international manufacturing company in Plymouth.

This is a varied opportunity that would suit an experienced Administrator looking to take their first step into HR, as well as candidates with previous HR or employee relations experience.

The role would suit someone with strong administration and organisational skills who is keen to develop their HR career.

Key Duties

  • Support the HR team with a variety of employee-related processes and administration.
  • Prepare HR documentation, including meeting notes, investigation reports and outcome letters.
  • Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, performance and conduct processes.
  • Coordinate meetings, investigations and formal HR processes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in line with GDPR.
  • Track actions and ensure documentation and processes are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Support managers with guidance throughout HR processes.
  • Liaise with Occupational Health, wellbeing providers and external advisors where required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in HR, employee relations or a strong administrative/co-ordination role.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident producing professional documentation and correspondence.
  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5, or working towards, is desirable.

What We Offer

  • Up to Β£36,000 DOE.
  • 3+ month contract.
