Part-Time Lettings Administrator - Barnet - £19,000 - £24,000
Our client, a rapidly expanding property management company based in Barnet is looking for a part-time Lettings Administrator to join their team. The role has been created to support the Lettings and Property Managers in an industry that is facing a new dawn following the Renters Rights Act.
This role will specifically tackle the new Section 13 Notices and Periodic Tenancies along with lettings progression throughout the process up to tenant move-in. The client is offering this part-time opportunity for a dedicated individual keen on growing with and helping to grow the company.
Duties
- Negotiate and draft Section 13 notices for rental increases across a diverse portfolio of properties
- Managing lettings progression from initial offer acceptance to tenant move-in including
- Tenant referencing through Rightmove
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks via an online platform
- Sending compliance documentation to tenants
- Arranging check-in inventories
- Invoicing of move-in monies
- Drafting tenancy agreements
- Arranging pre-tenancy cleans
- Launching properties to the online portals when re-letting
- Keeping the CRM system up to date
- Assisting with office admin on behalf of the property managers
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience of the Lettings and/or Property Management industry
- Experience in an Agency required
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to tackle different projects at the same time
Working Hours: 20 - 25 hours over 5 days a week - working hours are negotiable. Office-based (onsite parking available)
