A part time payroll officer role in central Oxford, conducting a cover, running until Aug' 27. The successful candidate needs to have a fundamental end to end payroll understanding and happy for an interim role.

Description

  • - Process payroll accurately and on time (3x payrolls, c. 250 headcount across all)
  • - Maintain and update employee payroll records.
  • - Assist with payroll queries and resolve any discrepancies.
  • - Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and policies.
  • - Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure financial accuracy.
  • - Prepare payroll reports as needed.
  • - Support with any payroll system updates or changes.
  • - Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Profile

  • - Experience in payroll processing (end to end)
  • - A good understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
  • - Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • - Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • - Effective communication skills to handle queries professionally.
  • - Immediately available or on short notice
  • - Ability to commute to central Oxford!

Job Offer

  • - Hourly rate of Β£18.00 - Β£22.00 per hour, dependent on the level of experience.
  • - Part-time, temporary role (covering until August 2027)
  • - c. 20-25 hours per week, spread across c. 3 days worth of work
  • - 1x day per week on site minimum
