A high-tech manufacturing company specialising in precision laser systems is seeking a Laser Process Engineer to join their expanding research and development team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced materials processing technologies in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimise, and document laser-based processes for precision manufacturing applications
- Plan and conduct experiments to evaluate laser-material interactions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate laser processes into bespoke systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Over 3 years of experience in a research and development environment
- Solid understanding of lasers and optics
- Knowledge of laser materials processing techniques (e.g. ablation, cutting, drilling, patterning)
- High level of quality and attention to detail in technical documentation
