Description

  • Process invoices and ensure accurate data entry into the accounting system.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to address and resolve queries.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Support the team with ad hoc finance-related tasks as required.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

Profile

  • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role in accounting and finance.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial data.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Job Offer

  • Hourly rate of Β£13.00-Β£18.00, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Temporary contract with the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to a not-for-profit organisation.
