Role Summary
As an Open Shift Developer, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of containerised applications on Red Hat Open Shift.
Collaborating closely with Dev Ops, platform engineering, and security specialists, you will ensure the efficient delivery of scalable, secure cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deploy containerised applications utilizing Open Shift and Kubernetes environments.
Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing and seamless deployment.
Monitor, optimise, and troubleshoot Open Shift platforms to ensure peak system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate complex applications onto container platforms.
Enforce security best practices, access control protocols, and maintain Open ID and PKI standards.
Maintain clear technical documentation covering Open Shift configurations, workflows, and architecture.
Stay updated on emerging trends across the Open Shift and Kubernetes open-source ecosystems.
Required Skills and Experience
3?5 years of background in software development or Dev Ops, featuring a strong focus on Open Shift or Kubernetes.
Proficient with containerisation technologies, including Docker and Podman.
Hands-on experience with automated CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Circle CI.
Sound knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code frameworks, particularly Ansible or Terraform.
Practical understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with Open Shift.
