Pay Rate: Β£16.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm10:30pm
Contracted Hours: 35 hours per week
Aspired Talent is recruiting for an experienced Paint Spraying Operative to join a specialist manufacturer of luxury wooden drawers and doorsets in Northampton.
The company manufactures premium products for high-end customers, so exceptional attention to detail and a consistently flawless finish are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Spray-paint luxury wooden drawers, doorsets and associated components.
Prepare wooden surfaces through sanding, cleaning, masking and priming.
Mix and apply paints, primers, lacquers and specialist finishes.
Set up and adjust spraying equipment to achieve the correct coverage and finish.
Inspect completed products for colour consistency, coverage and surface imperfections.
Identify and correct defects such as runs, marks, uneven coatings or contamination.
Handle finished products carefully to prevent damage.
Complete work in line with customer specifications and production schedules.
Clean and maintain spray equipment and the working area.
Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
Essential Requirements
Previous professional painting or paint-spraying experience is essential.
Experience spraying wood, furniture, doors, joinery or similar products is highly desirable.
Outstanding attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
Ability to achieve a smooth, consistent and high-end finish.
Good understanding of surface preparation and paint application.
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Reliable and able to work the full late-shift pattern.
Comfortable working within a busy manufacturing environment.
