REED Business Support is working with a well established organisation in Newcastle upon Tyne, supporting them with the recruitment of a Customer Service Advisor on a full time and permanent basis. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and delivering an excellent customer experience, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for parts enquiries via phone, email and occasional face to face interactions.
  • Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to delivery.
  • Prepare and issue quotations and process customer orders.
  • Keep customers informed of order progress, lead times and any delays.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery schedules.
  • Support service and workshop teams with parts requirements, including urgent breakdown requests.
  • Maintain accurate records within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central.
  • Resolve customer queries, shortages and delivery issues professionally.
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.

About You

  • Previous experience in customer service, order processing, sales support, account support or service coordination.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Experience using CRM or ERP systems.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work proactively.
  • Willingness to learn a technical product range.

Hours of work:

Monday - Thursday - 8:30am - 5:00pm

Friday - 8:30am - 3:30pm
