We are looking for a talented Independent Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to work within our community-based substance use services in the City of London and Hackney.

The service is delivered in partnership with Mind CHWF and London Friend, focusing on partnership working throughout the service to support those in the local community who need assistance to achieve their goals. We deliver treatment and support across the neighbourhoods ensuring a holistic and inclusive approach to recovery.

As an NMP Nurse or Pharmacist Prescriber, you will have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support who are experiencing difficulties from drugs and alcohol use, working with them to develop personal, flexible, and realistic support packages.

As a community-based Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber in a busy prescribing service, you will be involved with opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications, and relapse prevention medications. You will also provide support to the nursing team, offering Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations, and work closely with mental health, physical health, and social care services.

We are seeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber to join an established team in City and Hackney. You will need to be an excellent communicator, able to develop creative, flexible support packages tailored to the needs of each individual. We are looking for someone who loves talking to people with different needs, is genuinely interested in helping them, and possesses a deep level of empathy, understanding, and patience.
