FACTS qualification would be an advantage but not essential as training could be provided for the right candidate Your Role As a Farm Trader your role will involve: Building a comprehensive knowledge of Frontiers products and services.
Promoting, managing, and developing Frontiers business, products and services.
Having knowledge of grain markets and provide advice on the most appropriate management strategies.
Purchasing Grain, Oilseeds and Pulses from our farmer customers both established and new, agreeing terms for grain storage and handling services, if required.
Advising and selling seed, fertilisers and other inputs and services to farmer customers and developing new sales opportunities.
Building strong relationships with experienced commercial managers, developing commercial understanding alongside technical knowledge.
Liaising closely with colleagues to identify opportunities with new customers and develop relationships with existing customers, supporting a joint working approach.
Actively engaging in prospecting customers for Frontier.
