Procurement Administrator

15.38ph - 17.94ph dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Procurement team.
- Raise and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update supplier, pricing and product information on internal systems.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, pricing and invoice queries.
- Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up on delivery dates.
- Check order confirmations and ensure all information is correct.
- Assist with resolving discrepancies between purchase orders, deliveries and invoices.
- Support the sourcing of new suppliers and obtain quotations when required.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation and reports.
- Prepare spreadsheets and reports to support purchasing and stock management.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure purchasing requirements are met.
- Respond to internal and external procurement queries in a timely manner.
- Support the wider Procurement team with general administration and ad-hoc duties.
Skills and Experience
- Previous administration experience, ideally within procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
