Join our team as a Marketing Assistant and play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of our marketing data, updating our channels, and supporting various projects and day-to-day activities within the marketing department.

Marketing Assistant (Temporary, Part-Time)

  • Start Date: asap
  • Duration: Initially 10 weeks, with possible extension
  • Hours: Three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday), 08:30 - 17:00
  • Location: Milton Keynes, fully office based
  • Reports to: Head of Marketing

Join our team as a Marketing Assistant and play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of our marketing data, updating our channels, and supporting various projects and day-to-day activities within the marketing department.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Process new subscribers and leads in Salesforce, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Upload prepared content to our social media scheduling platform.
  • Update our website with new content, including text, images, and links.
  • Assist the marketing team with project administration and ad hoc tasks.
  • Occasionally support other activities as required to assist the business.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a marketing role, such as a Marketing Assistant or Coordinator.
  • Experience in data entry or administrative roles.
  • Proficient in using a CRM, ideally Salesforce, to process records such as leads and contacts.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident in using spreadsheets and Microsoft Office.
  • Well-organised, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good written English.

Desirable Skills:

  • Some exposure to WordPress, Sprout Social, or DotDigital.
  • Awareness of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when handling personal data.
