Looking to get your marketing career off to a flying start?

We're working with a growing events and media business looking for a Marketing & Digital Assistant to join its busy marketing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get stuck into digital marketing, content, events, webinars, social media and campaigns, while building valuable experience and learning from an experienced team.

What will you be doing?

A bit of everything - and that's what makes this role interesting.
You'll support marketing campaigns across a portfolio of events and digital products, helping make sure everything goes out on time, looks great and delivers results.
You'll be involved in:

  • Supporting email marketing, newsletters and digital campaigns
  • Creating and scheduling social and digital content
  • Updating websites and event listings
  • Helping organise and promote webinars and virtual events
  • Supporting marketing activity before, during and after live events
  • Coordinating sponsor and partner content and digital deliverables
  • Tracking campaigns and reporting on performance
  • Supporting newsletters, event guides and other marketing content
  • Proofreading copy and checking creative
  • Keeping campaign trackers, timelines and projects on track
  • Working with internal teams, speakers, sponsors and external partners

No two days will be exactly the same, so if you like variety, staying organised and getting stuck in, you'll enjoy this.

What are we looking for?

You don't need years of experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a genuine interest in marketing and the drive to learn.

You'll ideally be:

  • Organised and great at managing deadlines
  • Detail-focused - you'll spot the typo, missing link or incorrect logo!
  • A confident communicator
  • Proactive and happy to chase things when needed
  • Curious about digital marketing
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • A positive team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent

Handle actively welcomes applicants from under-represented backgrounds - we pride ourselves on attracting the best talent for every opportunity through a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
