Company Secretary

Greater Manchester

Role:

  • - Maintain statutory records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • - Provide governance advice and support to the board and senior leadership team.
  • - Coordinate and prepare board meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes.
  • - Oversee the submission of statutory filings and regulatory documents.
  • - Ensure corporate policies and procedures are up to date and adhered to.
  • - Develop and implement the Corporate Governance framework
  • - Support the company in risk management and internal controls.
  • - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective corporate governance practices.

Profile

Company Secretary

Greater Manchester

Essential:

  • - Strong knowledge of corporate governance and compliance requirements.
  • - Demonstrable experience of advising around Corporate Governance matters
  • - Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • - Excellent knowledge of UK Corporate Governance Code and Companies Act 206
  • - Proven ability to manage board-level communications and documentation.
  • - Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • - Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

  • - CGI Qualified
