Then read on!We are an innovative and fast-growing electronics manufacturer seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. While this role is based in the Eastern Time (EST) zone in the United States, it will focus entirely on overseeing management accounting operations in Europe.As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, supporting business decisions, and enhancing the efficiency of our accounting processes across multiple European entities.Key Responsibilities:Complete monthly closing activities by set business day of each monthConduct detailed Budget vs. Actual (BvA) analysis and provide insightful reportingManage VAT filings across various European jurisdictions [this will be done by tax specialists in each location, however you will need to collate the information]Oversee payment processing and treasury operationsStructure and streamline accounting processes to support a dynamic startup environmentCollaborate across teams and time zones to ensure alignment and consistency in financial operationsRequirements:Knowledge of VAT and local compliance in multiple EU countriesStrong understanding of financial close processes, budgeting, and financial analysisExcellent organizational skills with a process improvement mindsetFluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages (such as French, German, or Italian) is highly desirableMust be able to work during standard EST business hoursWhy Join Us?You will be part of a fast-paced, collaborative, and international team within a growing organization.
