We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our East Hyde STWProject team based in East Hyde, Bedfordshire. Location: East Hyde, Luton Hours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the commercial delivery of key work packages across the East Hyde STW Growth Project. This is an exciting opportunity to influence commercial strategy as the project progresses through detailed design, ensuring robust commercial controls are implemented throughout. You'll provide leadership to the commercial team while maintaining ownership of project delivery within a complex, multi-disciplinary environment. What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes through proactive cost, risk and contract management. Your day to day will include: Leading procurement activities including tender evaluation, recommendation and subcontract award Administering subcontract accounts, valuations, change events and final accounts Providing leadership, support and mentoring to Quantity Surveyors within the project team Managing project change, risk and opportunity while ensuring contractual compliance Contributing to commercial reporting including CVR, forecasting and cashflow management What are we looking for?
