We have a vacancy for a Part-Time Secretary for Prison Chaplaincy to provide support and advocacy for Free Church prison chaplains across England & Wales.
You will support and advocate for Free Church prison chaplains serving across England and Wales, working closely with the Free Churches Faith/Belief Adviser to His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service HMPPS the Free Churches Steering Committee for Prison Chaplaincy, trustees and chaplains. This is a strategic, outward facing role combining pastoral support, endorsement of candidates, advocacy, and partnership building with denominations, HMPPS and ecumenical bodies.
The closing date is noon, Wednesday 30th September 2026, with interviews held on 22nd or 23rd October 2026 in London.
