You will manage content calendars, build strong client relationships and take ideas from brief to final delivery across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn. You will also help win and grow client work by contributing to pitches and spotting new opportunities. You will support and mentor junior creatives and use performance insights to keep raising the bar. If you are a talented agency creator who loves working directly with clients and wants more ownership and a team that trusts you to run with it, this is the role.

Benefits

  • Generous holidays starting from 33 days per annum
  • Birthday leave (post-probation)
  • Tax Free EOT Bonus
  • Group Life Assurance
  • Social events organised by our Social Committee
  • Optional private medical insurance after 1 year
  • Long service awards every 5 years
  • Employee of the Quarter programme
  • Free tea, coffee, snacks, kitchen facilities, and breakout spaces
  • Beer Fridge Fridays
  • Referral programme
  • Pirkx benefits from day one
  • Auto-enrolment pension (3% employer contribution after 3 months)

Key Responsibilities

  • Take day-to-day ownership of retained social media client accounts, managing content calendars, client communications and ongoing delivery
  • Create and deliver high-performing, social-first video content, from scripting and shooting to editing, both in front of and behind the camera
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, leading content planning, managing feedback and presenting clear creative recommendations
  • Contribute to social and content strategies for retained clients, identifying opportunities to grow accounts and support pitches and proposals
  • Ensure platform-native creative across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
  • Monitor and report on content performance, turning insights into actionable recommendations that improve engagement and results
  • Manage production workflows and workloads, delivering on time and within agreed scope and budget
  • Support and mentor junior team members and work with external creators to ensure quality and reliable delivery

Requirements

  • Solid agency or in-house social media experience, ideally 3+ years, including managing retained accounts
  • Highly skilled content creator with hands-on experience creating and editing video and visual content, both on and off camera (essential to the role)
  • Strong account management skills, with confidence communicating directly with clients, managing feedback and balancing multiple clients, shoots and deadlines
  • Proactive and well organised, able to manage your own workload and take ownership of your work
  • Ability to turn a brief into a compelling social/content approach, with a good creative and commercial balance
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms, trends and algorithms
  • Confident presenting ideas and performance results to clients or senior stakeholders
  • Agency experience strongly preferred, with a clear understanding of the pace, processes, client feedback and commercial realities of agency work
