Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)
Salary: £40,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (1-hour lunch break)
Flexibility required to cover additional days when needed.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day finance function and assist with general office administration. This is a varied role suited to a proactive individual who enjoys working across multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase ledger invoices and payment entries using Sage Line 50
- Supporting sales ledger activities
- Daily bank reconciliations and Sage ledger reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets
- Producing and updating Excel reports
- General office administration and ad hoc support duties
- Providing flexible assistance across the business as required
Requirements
- Previous accounts experience within a similar role
- Strong Sage Line 50 knowledge is beneficial
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Flexible and reliable approach to work
