Location: Remote Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required Nationality Requirement: Sole UK National The Opportunity We're seeking a DevOps & Python Engineer to join a programme delivering modern cloud-based services supporting immigration and border management systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong Python development, AWS, and Kubernetes experience who enjoys building automation, developing cloud-native solutions, and improving platform services within an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Develop automation tools, APIs, and platform services using Python and Go. Automate infrastructure and cloud resource management within AWS. Support and enhance Kubernetes-based platforms and deployments. Integrate enterprise tooling including LDAP, HashiCorp Vault, JIRA, and Confluence. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Ensure high standards of testing, code quality, and security. Work closely with platform, development, and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions. Essential Skills Strong commercial experience with Python development. Experience with Go (Golang). AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch. Kubernetes and cloud-native environments. HashiCorp Vault, LDAP/Active Directory integration. Git, GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI. Automated testing using Pytest and Go testing frameworks.
