We are excited to announce we are searching for a GMC registered surgeon to perform an array of local anaesthetic procedures, with sometimes performing general anaesthesia.
This is an on-site contract role for a Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeon based in Scotland with occasional travel to England. The Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeon will be responsible for consulting with patients to understand their needs, performing surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures, and ensuring excellent pre- and post-procedure care.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Reviewing patient medical histories
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals
- Maintaining patient safety standards
- Staying current with advancements in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practices
Qualifications:
- Extensive surgical skills, including expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures
- Ability to conduct patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain comprehensive medical documentation
- Knowledge of patient safety protocols and infection prevention measures
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to discuss treatment options with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Board certification and medical license to practice as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
- Commitment to patient care, professionalism, and maintaining high ethical standards
- Experience in facial and body aesthetics is an added advantage
