Our client is an established and very successful shopfitting and bespoke joinery specialist delivering high-quality retail, commercial and interior fit-out projects across the UK. They work with a diverse portfolio of clients, from recognised retail brands to museums and commercial environments. This is a commercially focused Account Manager position with a strong emphasis on new business development, alongside managing and growing existing client accounts. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new opportunities, while also overseeing projects through delivery, acting as the key link between clients and internal teams (design, manufacturing, and installation). Ideal for someone in Account Management, Project Management or Estimating within shopfitting who wants a more sales-driven role with clear earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively generate new business through networking, prospecting, and lead conversion.
- Identify and secure new client opportunities within retail, commercial and interiors sectors.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts to maximise long-term value.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Oversee projects from initial brief through to completion.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Maintain strong commercial performance, ensuring projects meet profit targets.
- Contribute to overall sales strategy and business growth.

Essential Candidate Requirements:
- Proven track record in winning new business and developing client accounts.
- Experience in a target-driven sales or account management role.

- Commercial awareness and focus on revenue and margins.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in shopfitting, fit-out, joinery, retail interiors, or POS/display.
- Background working within a project-led environment.
- Experience liaising with design, manufacturing, or installation teams.

- £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary (DOE).
