What’s the role all about?
As a Learning Partner, you’ll play a key role in guiding our colleagues through their Wilderness Way Career Path Journey. From supporting learners in achieving their Level 3 Diploma to designing personalized learning plans and delivering engaging workshops, you’ll make sure every colleague’s development is nothing short of exceptional!
What you’ll be doing:
- Foster Growth: Advocate for continuous improvement and champion a culture of learning and development across all roles.
- Support Learning Journeys: Onboard new colleagues and guide them as they navigate their professional journey with tailored learning plans.
- Assess and Develop: Mark learner portfolios, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback to help learners stay on track.
- Be the Mentor: Work directly with learners, offering personalised learning recommendations and coaching them to success.
- Manage Your Schedule: Organise your diary for face-to-face visits and remote meetings to keep learners engaged and on the ball.
- Stay Compliant: Ensure learner files are fully compliant and aligned with our policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead by Example: Make sure that learning initiatives are aligned with Wilderness Way's values and business strategies.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: If you’ve worked in a similar role or have a solid understanding of the Level 3 Children and Young People workforce diploma, you’re a perfect fit!
- Qualifications: A Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification, an Assessor qualification (TAQA/CAVA), and a passion for learning. Level 5 is desirable.
- Skills: Strong organisational skills, a friendly and diplomatic approach, and a keen eye for detail.
- Passion: We need someone who is committed to empowering others, loves helping people grow, and believes in the power of continuous learning.
- Other Requirements: A full driving license (preferably without endorsements) and a willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
