A well-established and respected law firm in Kings Lynn is seeking an experienced Criminal Legal Secretary to join its busy and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised legal secretary who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing exceptional administrative support.
The Role
Working closely with solicitors and fee earners, you will be responsible for:
- Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
- Managing client communications and enquiries
- Liaising with courts, barristers, police stations and external parties
- Diary management and arranging appointments
- Preparing legal documents and court bundles
- Opening and closing client files
- Maintaining accurate records and case management systems
- General secretarial and administrative support to the Criminal Law department
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Criminal Law
- Excellent audio typing and document production skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A professional and confidential approach to work
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
