This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, practical, communicative, and interested in developing a long-term career in construction project management.

You do not need extensive project-management experience.

We will provide training, processes, support, and real responsibility as you develop.

The role will involve helping oversee construction and project activities from initial planning through to completion, ensuring that tasks are organised, communication is clear, and projects stay on track.

You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, the sales team, and the Quantity Surveyor to support smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and coordinating construction projects from start to completion.
  • Support the preparation of project plans, schedules, task lists, site programmes, and progress updates.
  • Coordinate communication between clients, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members.
  • Arrange site visits, project meetings, deliveries, materials, and contractor attendance.
  • Track project progress against timelines, budgets, scope of works, and client expectations.
  • Help ensure project documentation is complete, organised, and up to date.
  • Record meeting notes, actions, changes, risks, delays, and outstanding items.
  • Support the management of health and safety documentation, site requirements, and compliance processes.
  • Identify potential delivery issues early and escalation to the appropriate person.
  • Assist with quality checks, snagging lists, completion records, and handover documentation.
  • Provide professional updates to clients and maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the project.
  • Work with the Quantity Surveyor to monitor costs, supplier quotes, variations, and additional works.
  • Work with the Sales Representative to ensure handovers from sales to project delivery are clear and accurate.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication skills and confidence coordinating with different people.
  • A practical interest in construction, refurbishment, property, interiors, fit-out, or project delivery.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
  • Good attention to detail, particularly when managing documents, dates, project actions, and client requirements.
  • Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, calendars, project-management tools, and document-sharing systems.
  • A proactive mindset: someone who follows up, solves problems, and takes ownership.
  • Previous experience in construction, administration, customer service, operations, logistics, property, or coordination is helpful, but not essential.
  • A driving licence is preferred if site travel is required.

What We Offer

  • Full training in construction project coordination and project-management processes.
  • Exposure to real projects and direct involvement in site, client, contractor and supplier coordination.
  • Clear progression into Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Operations Manager Or Construction Manager roles.
  • Opportunity to join a new team and have a visible impact on how the business grows.
