Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, working Monday – Thursday, and Friday.

Location: Mobile Working, with travel across the East Midlands - Ilkeston, Sandicliffe, Nottingham, Kirkby in Ashfield, Shirebrook, Hucknall, Alfreton (Travel calculated from: Longfield House, Ilkeston / Grove Park, Leicester).

Salary: £34,117.00 per annum.

The Role: We're looking for an experienced Joiner to join our voids maintenance team undertaking reactive repairs, replacements and improvements for our customers in their homes across the East Midlands. As a joiner, you will be carrying out primarily joinery and carpentry works but there is an expectation you will be multi-skilled to provide an efficient, customer-focused service. Our Internal Maintenance Service (IMS) aims to provide the highest quality repairs and maintenance services to our customers, and you may be required to work in other teams across the IMS during your employment with emh.

The ideal candidate: Our priority is our customers, and you must demonstrate your commitment to delivering an excellent service for our customers. The ideal candidate will hold a level 3 qualification in Joinery or Carpentry, or similar qualification, and have experience of day-to-day maintenance in residential properties. Experience of bathroom installation and repairs would be desirable. You should have a team working ethos as this team works closely together to ensure they deliver their schedule of works. The ability to travel is essential as you will travel to our customers' homes situated across the East Midlands.
