About the role

As an HSEQS Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the HSEQ & Sustainability function by ensuring the accurate collection, management and reporting of business-critical data. You will work closely with operational teams and stakeholders across the business to maintain data integrity, support reporting requirements and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

The role will involve a combination of office-based and occasional site-based support across all VolkerHighways contracts in the South East & South West.

Key Responsibilities:

Collate, validate and input HSEQS and Sustainability data, ensuring accuracy and integrity across company reporting measures.
Support the timely provision of data in line with reporting deadlines and programme timescales.
Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes and reporting efficiencies.
Maintain and update information across key business systems.
Provide administrative support to the wider HSEQ & Sustainability team.
Assist contract teams with system queries and data management requirements.
Produce reports, analyse trends and highlight any issues or anomalies within data sets.
Undertake ad hoc duties as required to support departmental objectives.
About you

Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies and challenge inaccuracies in data.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work to strict deadlines.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
Ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise workload effectively.
Full UK driving licence.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly:
Excel
Word
PowerPoint
Experience using or willingness to learn systems such as EcoOnline, MSite, Sevron and Thrive.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on data.
Understanding of GDPR requirements and handling confidential information appropriately.
Experience of administrative or data management duties within a business environment is desirable.
