Put Your Language Skills to Work in an International Environment

Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be partnering with an established engineering business to recruit a Bilingual Aftersales Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys communicating with people, building relationships and delivering outstanding customer service across international markets.

Working within a supportive aftersales team, you'll be a key point of contact for customers and commercial partners, coordinating spare parts enquiries, quotations and orders. Your language skills will help create positive customer experiences, while your organisational abilities and commercial awareness will support the smooth delivery of products and services.

The Opportunity:

As a Bilingual Aftersales Coordinator, you'll play a key role in:

  • International Customer Support: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and commercial partners, communicating confidently in English and an additional language, ideally German.
  • Quotations and Sales Coordination: Prepare accurate quotations for spare parts and services, proactively following up on enquiries and identifying opportunities to support customer requirements.
  • Order Processing: Manage customer orders through ERP systems, ensuring accurate pricing, product details, delivery schedules and order confirmations.
  • Customer Communication: Provide regular updates on orders, deliveries and transport arrangements, resolving queries professionally and keeping customers informed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical and operational colleagues to ensure customers receive a responsive, reliable service.

Your work will directly contribute to strengthening international customer relationships, improving service delivery and supporting the continued growth of the aftersales function.

About You:

  • Strong communication skills in English and at least one additional language. German would be particularly advantageous, although other European languages are welcomed.
  • Experience in customer service, sales administration, order processing or a similar customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using business systems, including ERP, CRM or order management software. SAP experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to build trust and develop positive working relationships.
  • An interest in technical products and a willingness to develop knowledge of spare parts, machinery and associated services.
  • Please note, our client cannot consider candidates who do require sponsorship.

Previous experience within engineering, manufacturing or international sales support would be an advantage, although candidates from other industries with relevant transferable skills are encouraged to apply.

You don't need to have followed a traditional career path. If you have strong language skills, enjoy helping customers and are keen to develop, we'd welcome your application.

The Benefits and Package:

  • The opportunity to use your language skills in an international, customer-focused environment.
  • A varied position within an established engineering business.
  • Opportunities to develop your technical knowledge, commercial awareness and customer relationship skills.
  • A collaborative team environment where your ideas and contribution are valued.

We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds, experiences and career paths.
