Role Overview - Toolmaker
Our client, a well-established manufacturer within the plastics sector, is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join their team in Hengoed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled injection mould toolmaker to work on the manufacture, maintenance and improvement of production tooling within a modern manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities - Toolmaker
Manufacture new injection mould tools from engineering drawings and 3D CAD data.
Repair, maintain and modify existing production tooling.
Operate toolroom machinery safely and efficiently.
Support tooling and process improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Assist with apprentice development and knowledge sharing.
Ensure high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
Key Experience & Requirements - Toolmaker
Qualified Toolmaker with experience in injection mould tooling.
CNC machining experience.
CAD/CAM knowledge.
Experience working with hardened steel production tools.
Knowledge of hot runner systems, valve gates and manifolds.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
