This is a hands-on, field-based position working with SCADA, PLCs, control panels, communications systems and associated networks .
The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, contractors and site teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities Install, modify and remove SCADA and control system equipment.
Carry out minor wiring modifications to control panels, including communications and instrumentation wiring.
Conduct site surveys to support project planning and design.
Supervise contractors and coordinate site activities.
Liaise with engineers, contractors and site personnel to ensure works are completed effectively.
Support commissioning, testing and fault-finding activities.
Assist with planning and delivery of engineering projects.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with relevant health, safety and engineering procedures.
Manage your own workload and provide progress updates.
Complete site documentation and maintain accurate records.
Travel regularly to sites across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
Requirements Relevant electrical engineering qualifications and experience working with control/automation systems.
Experience with SCADA, PLCs, control panels or industrial automation .
Experience carrying out electrical wiring modifications.
Good knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) .
Experience supervising contractors or coordinating site activities.
Knowledge of commissioning and testing practices.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good organisational and time-management abilities.
A strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
A CCNSG Site Safety Passport or equivalent would be advantageous.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
Willingness to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required. xrnqpay
