Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch break), alternative Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The group supplies to a broad range of customers, including DIY and Retail, small to national Housebuilders, General and Specialist Contractors, Housing Associations, and other Timber and Builders Merchants.

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Assistant to join our team at our Devizes branch. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining the yard, organising stock, and providing excellent service to our customers. The role involves handling building materials and ensuring smooth yard operations to support the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising and maintaining stock in the yard.
  • Ensuring that orders are ready for collection or delivery.
  • Assist with unloading deliveries and moving materials around the yard.
  • Supporting the sales team by providing accurate stock information.
  • Ensuring the yard is clean, safe, and well-organised at all times.
  • Forklift license preferred but not essential.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of building materials is helpful but not essential.
  • Forklift license is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Valid UK driving license is required.
