Interim Accounts Clerk

Robert Half are currently recruiting for an Interim Accounts Clerk to join a fast-growing business in Halifax. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for an immediate start within a busy and supportive office environment.
This is a fully office-based role, and due to location and accessibility, candidates must have access to their own transport.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with payment allocations
- Supporting month-end finance processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
- Handling general accounts administration duties
Key requirements:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Clerk or similar finance support role
- Strong Excel skills, including confidence using formulas and spreadsheets
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Own transport is essential
- Available to start at short notice
