They are looking for a confident, personable and highly organised Graduate Communications Officer to support their communications, community engagement and events activity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career in communications, events and stakeholder engagement. You will work across a varied programme of activity, developing your skills while helping to create an exceptional experience for members, visitors and partners.

As the Graduate Communications Officer, you will be:

Playing an important role in supporting day-to-day communications and community activity. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and have the opportunity to take ownership of projects as your experience develops.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • - Supporting day-to-day communications with members, visitors and external contacts, ensuring interactions are professional, welcoming and engaging.
  • - Drafting clear and engaging email communications, including newsletters, event invitations and member updates.
  • - Supporting the planning and delivery of a varied programme of events, from regular community socials to larger conferences.
  • - Helping to identify and engage industry speakers, coordinating briefings and supporting event logistics.
  • - Assisting with requests for high-profile tours and conference bookings, helping to ensure an excellent experience for visitors.
  • - Using CRM systems and platforms such as Eventbrite to manage attendee information and track engagement.
  • - Supporting post-event reporting and analysis.
  • - Working closely with Catering, Administration and Marketing teams to ensure events and communications are delivered smoothly.
  • - Contributing to wider community engagement and communications projects as required.

About You

We are looking for a graduate with excellent communication skills, a professional approach and a genuine interest in working with people.

As the Graduate Communications Officer you will have:

  • - A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • - Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce polished written content.
  • - A friendly, confident and professional manner.
  • - Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • - The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • - An interest in communications, events, community engagement or marketing.
  • - Confidence using digital platforms and an ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • - The ability to work collaboratively while also taking initiative and ownership of tasks.
