Your new role As People & Talent Partner, you will play a key role in supporting both workforce growth and workforce stability. Working closely with the People & Culture Business Partner, Finance Transformation leaders and external recruitment partners, you will ensure effective hiring delivery while helping to build the people practices required to support engagement, development and retention. This is a broad, hands-on role combining recruitment delivery, stakeholder management and people initiatives, ideal for someone who enjoys working at pace and shaping pragmatic solutions.
Key responsibilities include:- Managing and coordinating recruitment processes
- Overseeing candidate screening and early-stage selection processes
- Ensuring timely feedback, follow-up and progression of candidates
- Planning, monitoring and reporting on recruitment pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Identifying and driving improvements to recruitment processes and candidate experience
- Supporting onboarding and induction processes for new hires
- Supporting the development of additional sourcing channels such as university partnerships, LinkedIn, internal referrals and local networks
- Capturing the current state of the workforce and identifying key risks or challenges
- Coordinating training activity (compliance, leadership and technical)
- Supporting manager development across performance, talent and capability management processes
- Providing support on employee relations matters as required
- Supporting team engagement, wellbeing initiatives and team events
- Assisting with reward, recognition and compensation discussions where appropriate
- Proven experience in a People, HR or Talent role with strong recruitment exposure
- Experience managing relationships with external recruitment partners
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities
- Good understanding of workforce planning, onboarding and people development activities
- Confidence handling employee relations matters
- A collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
