The Role
As Fixed Asset Controller, you will take ownership of the fixed asset and capital expenditure processes, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, budget management and effective governance, while partnering with operational teams to drive efficiency and continuous improvement across the business.
What will you be doing?
Manage the fixed asset and capital expenditure processes, ensuring accurate records and appropriate financial controls.
Monitor capital expenditure and budgets, highlighting key variances, risks and opportunities.
Maintain the fixed asset register, including asset additions, transfers, depreciation and disposals.
Work closely with operational teams to ensure financial policies and purchasing processes are followed.
Prepare regular reporting and analysis on capital expenditure and fixed assets for management.
Support financial governance, compliance and audit requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiency across the business.
Provide support and cover for wider finance activities as required.

Strong numerical and communication skills
Proficient in all Microsoft suites including Excel
Ability to thrive in a fast paced setting, with self motivation and ability to prioritise workload according
Starting or progressing through a professional financial qualification
Relevant experience is a previous financial accountant role
