Seeking a detail-oriented, highly organised FP&A Analyst to join our FP&A Finance team. The FP&A Analyst will support the FP&A Finance Director and act as business partner for assigned Functions/Departments. Responsible for assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modelling skills, an in-depth understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget Process (AOP), monthly and quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, KPIs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
  • Support the monthly/Quarterly close financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
  • Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy, optimising automated processes wherever possible.
  • Support Senior Business Partners to ensure full visibility on Forecasting, Annual Planning and Management Reporting.
  • Develop, manage and maintain the go-to-market compensation model.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5+ years of applicable experience in financial planning and analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis & management reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge & experience in using financial/accounting software applications to query data and report financials, ie Anaplan, Oracle DB.
