Community Care Assistant Ferndown & Surrounding Areas
£13.50 per hour Full-Time Permanent

We are recruiting Community Care Assistants to join an established care provider supporting individuals in their own homes across Ferndown and the surrounding areas.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this position.
The Role
As a Community Care Assistant, you will provide practical and personal care to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living.
- Supporting individuals with washing, dressing and personal hygiene.
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration.
- Supporting medication where trained and authorised.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Encouraging independence and respecting individual choices.
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns.
- Maintaining accurate care records.
Hours & Shift Patterns
- Full-time contracts of 37.5 hours per week, with additional hours available.
- Morning shifts: 7am 12pm.
- Lunchtime shifts: 12pm 2pm.
- Evening shifts: 6pm 10pm.
- Weekend rota: One weekend on, one weekend off.

About You
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle (essential).

- Have previous care experience, although transferable experience may also be considered.
