The role will involve you working remotely, ideally based near to Burton on Trent to cover from Lichfield, Tamworth across to the East Midlands.
Travel will generally be no more than around one hour from home.
What we need from you as an experienced EV Charger Installer - Electrician:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent
Experience installing domestic EV chargers
Hold a valid UK Driving Licence
Good customer service skills, both face to face and over the telephone
Have a clean, tidy, and professional image
A City & Guilds 2919-01/02 EV Charging qualification, or equivalent, will also be required. However, if you dont currently hold this qualification, the company is willing to support the right candidate in completing the required 12-day course to achieve it.
Desirable but not essential:
OZEV-approved installer status
Familiarity with EV charger brands such as Sync Energy, Ohme, Cord and Hypervolt
What the role involves:
The role will principally involve the installation of domestic EV chargers. Duties will include:
Installing, testing, and commissioning domestic EV charge points
Carrying out site surveys, diagnostics and repairs when required
Ensuring all installations meet BS7671 Wiring Regulations and OZEV standards
Liaising with customers, providing a quality, first-class service every time
Explaining equipment and its operation clearly to customers
Completing all relevant documentation and certificates accurately
Always keeping customers premises clean and tidy
Salary: Β£45,000 per year. xrnqpay There is also the opportunity to earn a significant bonus for installing more than the required 10 chargers per week.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am4pm.
