We are now seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team in our busy independant specialist VW Audi garage. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles within the VAG group range. Enthusiasm for the job is a must and working independantly and as part of a team is an important attribute
Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and filter replacements - Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles - Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical problems - Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed - Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or safety concerns - Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
Experience:
- Diagnostic experience
- Previous VAG group knowledge and experience a definate advantage
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician - Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs - Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. Salary is negotiable and we offer further training to the right candidate. This is a full-time position.
