What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?
- Supporting transactional processes, including reconciliations and ledger management, to ensure accurate financial data.
- Assisting with month-end reporting and analysis to support senior decision-makers.
- Taking ownership of specific tasks related to inventory accounting and stock management as needed.
- Process month end journals, VAT returns and support with payroll.
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:
- Strong attention to detail coupled with intermediate Excel skills.
- Experience or familiarity with accounting software, ideally NAV or Microsoft Business Central, is desirable.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify issues proactively.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a supportive environment.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work across transactional and month-end activities.
