About the role
Working alongside experienced property professionals, the Commercial Property Paralegal will support a varied caseload of commercial property matters and play an important part in delivering an excellent service to clients.
Typical responsibilities are likely to include:
- Assisting with commercial property sales and purchases
- Supporting leasehold transactions, including new leases, assignments and renewals
- Preparing and reviewing legal documents and correspondence
- Carrying out property searches and Land Registry enquiries
- Assisting with due diligence and title investigations
- Preparing files and documentation for completion
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents and other third parties
- Managing key dates, documentation and administrative requirements
- Supporting fee earners with a varied caseload of high-quality commercial property work
- Ensuring matters progress efficiently while maintaining excellent client service
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Some previous experience of commercial property transactions
- Paralegal, Legal Assistant or similar property experience
- A genuine interest in developing a career within commercial property
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence communicating with clients and other professionals
- The ability to manage priorities and work effectively within a busy team
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
