We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join a well-established automotive business in Durham.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a stable Monday to Friday role within a professional workshop environment.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a variety of vehicles.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out mechanical repairs to a high standard
- Brake, suspension, steering and other component repairs
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
- Completing vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Working efficiently as part of a professional workshop team
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safety
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic xrnqpay skills
- Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
