About You
- Previous experience teaching within a secondary school or SEN setting
- Experience supporting students with SEN and additional learning needs
- Confidence supporting pupils with a range of needs and adapting your approach accordingly
- QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification
- Confidence delivering lessons across KS3-KS5
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach
- Ability to quickly build positive relationships with students and staff
- A strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing
About the Opportunities
You'll have the opportunity to work across a range of mainstream secondary schools and specialist settings throughout Medway, providing continuity and support where it's needed most. Assignments can range from daily supply and short-term cover to ongoing and longer-term placements, giving you the flexibility to choose opportunities that work around you.
