About You
Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience working with secondary-aged students
QTS or other teaching qualifications preferred
School or classroom experience is highly desirable
Confidence supervising classes across KS3-KS5
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to confidently deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
Experience supporting SEN/additional learning needs is advantageous
A calm, confident and adaptable approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll provide classroom cover during teacher absence, ensuring students remain engaged and learning continues effectively.

You'll typically be responsible for delivering pre-prepared work, managing classroom behaviour, supporting students with tasks and maintaining a positive learning environment .
