Hoo Hing is the UK's leading Oriental food specialist and we are expanding our field sales team. We are looking for motivated, Cantonese and/or Mandarin speaking Sales Representatives to join us on the road, growing and nurturing our established customer base across London and the South East.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Field Sales Representative at Hoo Hing, you will be the face of our business to a loyal and growing network of Oriental wholesalers, supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, cafes and takeaways across London and the Home Counties.

Your week will involve a mix of:

  • Visiting existing customers regularly to strengthen relationships and drive sales
  • Identifying and introducing new products and services to your customer base
  • Chasing new leads and winning new business to grow your territory
  • Understanding your customers' needs and acting as a trusted advisor
  • Representing Hoo Hing professionally at all times in the field

This is not a cold calling role. You will be working with an established, loyal customer base while also having the opportunity to bring in new business and grow your earnings through uncapped commission.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You must have:

  • The right to work in the UK
  • Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin (essential)
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and Bank Holidays
  • The ability to reliably commute to or be based within London and the Home Counties

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Experience in wholesaling, catering, hospitality or the food industry
  • A proven track record in a customer facing sales role
  • A genuine passion for food and the Oriental food sector
  • The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in all situations
  • A natural ability to build long lasting customer relationships
