Birchwell Associates is recruiting for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join a growing renewable energy business delivering residential and commercial energy efficiency projects across Wales.

This is a hands-on field-based role suited to a fully qualified Electrician with strong experience in Solar PV and renewable energy installations.
Youll work as part of an experienced installation team, delivering high-quality electrical and Solar PV work across a variety of domestic and commercial projects.
The Role As Solar PV Electrician, your responsibilities will include:
Installing residential and commercial Solar PV systems
Wiring and connecting solar panels, inverters and battery storage systems
Carrying out general domestic electrical works including sockets and lighting
DMEV installations
ASHP electrical supply runs, including armoured cable
Installing cylinder fused spurs
Consumer unit works and repairs where required
Electrical fault finding and remedial work
Ensuring all installations meet current electrical regulations and safety standards
Working closely with installers and other electricians on site
Supporting junior electricians and apprentices where required
Carrying out quality checks and audits on completed installations
Identifying remedial works and helping maintain high installation standards
Communicating professionally with customers on site
What Were Looking For To be considered, you will need:
Qualified Electrician status
18th Edition
Minimum 3 years' electrical experience
Previous Solar PV installation experience
Experience within renewable energy or renewable heating
Strong fault-finding skills
Experience working in field-based roles
Good customer service skills
Strong xrnqpay communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full right to work in the UK
Willingness to travel as required
Package £40,000 - £50,000 salary
Monday to Friday
37.5 hours per week
22 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
