Quality Inspector Bristol Kingston Barnes are pleased to be recruiting for a well-established and expanding manufacturing organisation based in Bristol. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team.

You will support quality activities across precision machining and fabrication operations. It's a hands on role, and will suit someone with previous Aerospace/Defense manufacturing experience.
The Role: I nspect precision-machined components and fabricated assemblies throughout production
Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections
Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T
Use conventional inspection equipment, with support for CMM and FARO Arm inspection
Complete inspection records, FAIRs and PPAP documentation
Identify and resolve quality issues, including NCRs and corrective actions
Check incoming materials, certifications and traceability
Work with Production and Engineering to maintain product quality
Support audits, calibration, 5S and continuous improvement
Help develop quality systems within an AS9100 manufacturing environment
About You Previous Quality Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100.
Aerospace and/or Defence experience preferred.
Experience inspecting machined components and welded/fabricated assemblies.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances and GD&T.
Experience with first-off, in-process, final and batch inspections.
Knowledge of FAIRs, PPAP and non-conformance reporting.
Understanding of material certification, traceability and document control.
Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks. xrnqpay
Expereince using CMM and/or FARO Arm equipment is highly advantageous
Benefits £34,470 - £40,000 DOE
25 days annual leave.
