About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and organised Call Handler to join a busy healthcare team in Crawley. This is a customer-focused role where you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent service and ensuring appointments are scheduled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls from patients in a professional and compassionate manner
- Scheduling, amending, and cancelling appointments
- Handling patient enquiries and providing accurate information
- Updating patient records and maintaining data accuracy
- Liaising with healthcare professionals and colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery
- Managing a high volume of calls while maintaining excellent customer service standards
About You
- Previous experience in a call handling, customer service, or administration role
- Excellent communication and telephone manner
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
- Good IT skills and experience using appointment booking systems is desirable
- Empathetic and patient-focused approach
