We are seeking a dynamic Project Engineer with a strong background in automation and machine tending to join our expanding team in Coventry.
This is a fantastic, high-impact role offering a brilliant mix of hands-on technical execution, project leadership, and customer collaboration.
Key Responsibilities Project Lifecycle Execution: Assist with industrial automation projects from initial design through to final site installation and commissioning.
Programming & Assembly: Carry out mechanical and electrical assembly, handle both online and offline robot programming, and manage PMC, HMI, and PLC programming.
Testing & Support: Conduct thorough commissioning and fault-finding across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, specializing in automated machine tending cells. Provide technical assistance and training to customers and team members..
Your Profile & Experience Engineering Background: Formal qualifications and hands-on experience in electro-mechanical engineering.
Robotics & Controls: Proven knowledge of industrial robot installation, commissioning, and programming, plus PLC/HMI/PMC skills.
Automation & Machine Tending Expertise: Practical experience with automated machine tending (CNC loading/unloading, part handling) within manufacturing or industrial production environments is highly preferred.
