Conveyancing Legal Secretary / Assistant - Canary Wharf, LondonFull Time Permanent Residential Property
I'm recruiting for a Conveyancing Legal Secretary / Assistant to join a busy and established law firm based in Canary Wharf, London.
Working as part of the Residential Property team, you'll provide hands-on secretarial and administrative support to conveyancing fee earners, helping to keep residential property transactions progressing smoothly from initial instruction through to completion.
The role will include:
- Opening, maintaining and closing conveyancing files
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties
- Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
- Providing day-to-day administrative and secretarial support to fee earners
- Managing diaries, appointments and key deadlines
- Updating client and matter information
- Assisting with residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Handling telephone and email enquiries
- Supporting the wider Conveyancing team as required
What are we looking for?
You'll be organised, professional and detail-focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy legal environment.
Previous experience within a conveyancing, residential property or legal support environment would be advantageous. Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates with experience as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant, Property Assistant or Legal Administrator.
